1. Canfield Fair

The Canfield Fair is the largest fair in all of Ohio and it's right in our own back yard! This year the Canfield Fair will be held Augest 2, 2016 - September 5, 2016. If you have never been, it's certainly something to experience.

2. Suzie’s Dogs and Drafts and the Hot Dog Shoppe

Ahh... I can't say enough great things about these two hot dog places. Suzie's is in downtown Youngstown and something you don't want to miss. It's an artisan hot dog place where you can put a list of over 50 toppings on a single hot dog. There is everything from spicy ramen to marshmallow fluff. The Hot Dog Shoppe in Warren is my absolute favorite! The 50's style diner and amazing hot dogs, french fries, and homemade soup is something you can't miss out on.

3. Butler Art Museum

What can I say, if you haven't visited The Butler Art Museum do you even live in Youngstown? LOL. This FREE museum is ABSOLUTELY beautiful and did I mention it's free? 7. Watch a baseball game at Cene Park

The beautiful Bob Cene Park is famous for it's competitive Class B League. Players come from all over to get in on the action. I personally love watching the talent and the entry fee is less then $5! They play all summer and you can find their schedule at this website: http://www.bobcenememorial.com/home

OH WOW is a science and technology museum with hands on activities for everyone! Kids love this fun filled learning environment.

15. Cake at the Mocha House

MOCHA HOUSE! Two words that mean so much in Warren, OH. Mocha House is a staple for breakfast, lunch, or dinner but what I love it most for, is the homemade dessert. Hint: Mocha Derby Cake is the BEST.

16. Hollywood Casino

I am a bit too young to visit any kind of casino but this casino in Austintown, OH is pretty special because it is a racino as well! A racino is where they race all different types of horses for gambling purposes. I would definitely check it out!

17. Bubble Tea at Sweet Frosty's

If you have never tried Boba or Bubble Tea here is your chance. Sweet Frosty's frozen yogurt place also sells bubble tea and let me tell you it's delicious. Taro flavor literally tastes like a melted vanilla milkshake! YUM!

23. Trumbull County Fair

Dairy Barn milk shakes at the Trumbull County Fair are so delicious. The milk shakes are made with homemade ice cream and milk that came straight from the cows at the fair. It doesn't get any better than that. Also the one stop price of $8 dollars is great for those on a budget because it includes all of the rides!!!! The fair will take place July 12th -July 17th.

24. Drive Ins

The Elm Rd. Drive In is something I remember my parents takeing me to as a small child. This drive in is so clean and well kept, it is way cheaper to take the fam to the drive ins because you get two movies for the price of one!

25. Nelson Ledges

Though it might not be in the Mahoning Valley, its close. The beautiful Nelson Ledges is the BEST place for hiking in a flat place like Ohio. There is so much beauty to be seen at this park including 3 waterfalls and a giant quarry that you can jump and swim in!

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
