Working with kids is a job like no other. You need to find the fine line between being a child yourself and making sure the children you are in charge of do not kill each other. Whether you're a nanny, babysitter, camp counselor or coach, here are some things you know to be all too true.

1. Caffeine is the best invention.

Coffee, Diet Coke, 5-Hour Energy. Pick your poison.

2. You are (basically) a doctor.

Nosebleeds, cuts, puke — you've seen it all, and nothing phases you anymore.

3. Nap time is the best time.

Often, you need a nap more than any of your children do.

4. You have 800 friendship bracelets.

"Thanks so much I love this braided string! Let me go put it with my 799 other string bracelets!"

5. Kids are the greatest birth control.

The best part about working with children is that you get to give them back at the end of the day.

6. You are quick with the comebacks.

Excuse me, sweetie. I am the sassiest person alive. Don't even think about talking back to me.

7. Kids are hilarious.

Kids literally say the funniest things. In fact, sometimes it actually shocks me. How do you know what that is? Where did you learn that?

8. Kids are extremely observant.

Kids know what you're doing at all times, even when you try to hide things from them.

9. They are also extremely honest.

Yes, I do have a pimple. Thank you, Johnny, for pointing it out!

11. You're great at faking enthusiasm.

Yes, I am just so excited to be here at 6 a.m.! Love my job!

12. You truly love your job.

I wouldn't trade my crazy, loud, silly, insane children for anything.

I thought senioritis in high school was rough until I became a college senior about to go into the real world. I'm supposed to have everything figured out, right? College is filled with many things, and we're so often lectured to make the right decisions as we head out on our own into the college life. But sometimes it's necessary to indulge in some guilty pleasures as well as just doing things because you can. And honestly, a lot of the time it's inevitable. College is no piece of cake that's for sure, so it's okay to do some things you deep down know you shouldn't....once in a while anyways.
