Fall semester is coming to a end and the holiday season is upon us. You know what that means: unlimited naps, family time, no schoolwork, and lots of food. Shopping for a college student can be tough, so here's a list of things that JMU students would appreciate this Christmas:
1. The campus to not reek of dog food every time it rains.
Or any time for that matter.
2. Quality time with the quad cats.
3. To be able to punch for Starbucks and Chick-Fil-A.
Because there's never enough dining.
4. Hold/pet a JMU squirrel.
5. A guaranteed parking spot.
6. Kathy White from the Packsaddle Ridge Golf club to stop sending us e-mails.
7. .....matter of fact, we don't want any more useless informational e-mails.
8. A repeat of College Game Day.
And to beat Richmond this time around.
9. Another month of prime dage and tailgating weather.
10. An early enrollment appointment.
11. Unlimited Cheesy Bread and Sticky Nugs.
12. To never be late to class because of the train or buses.
Getting stuck behind the train right before your 8 a.m. gets old.
13. A heated tunnel that leads to Forest.
Cabs aren't cheap, but no one wants to walk across Port in sub-zero temperatures in a crop top and a skirt.
14. To be done with GenEds.
15. E-Hall brunch
Because E-Hall omelets and tots are the best omelets and tots.
16. A picture with President Alger.
17. A fast pass for the Mongolian line.
18. A decent wifi connection in Carrier.
19. All of our parking tickets paid.
Damn you, JMU parking services.
20. Perfect "quad chill and hammock" weather year round.
21. A fall break.
PSA: we're slowly dying by the time Thanksgiving rolls around.
22. Conquer the JMU hills.
23. A visit to the puppy farm.
24. Everyday to be Buff Mash day at D-hall.
Because hot sauce, chicken tenders, and mashed potatoes is the best combo known to man.
Anything on this list is sure to make sure a JMU student feel the Christmas spirit.
