During the summer, we all strain to do outdoor activities. But what about indoor activities? What do we do when we want to stay inside? Here are 10 activities you can do inside this summer or any time of the year.

1. Crafts – Pinterest has many options and ideas to share to try. Have you ever thought of tie dying shoes?

2. Bookstores - Nice and cool place where you can browse and read to your heart's content.

3. Mall - Where else can you go shopping for new clothes, try a new food stop at the food court, or simply exercise.

4. Movie marathon - When was the last time you watched of all Lord of The Rings or Harry Potter?

5. Reading - There is always time to enjoy a good book wherever and whenever you are

6. Redecoration - Rather than leave your home, change it up and see things with a new perspective.

7. Exercise - Rather than deal with the heat outside, create some of your own inside by doing some aerobics. Dig out those VHS or Youtube.

8. Learn to cook/bake - Pick up a new skill or perhaps or learn a new recipe.

9. Write - Whether its journaling or writing stories/articles, dabble in the art and see where it takes you.

10. Indoor gardening - Learn about plants that can't be in the sun or can be taken care of indoors.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
