Whether you're walking to class or headed Uptown, you're guaranteed to hear these 10 phrases.
"Let's get this bread."
A phrase now adopted by probably every college student at this point. But, are we all getting that bread?
*"Mo Bamba" playing in the background somewhere*
If you can go a day without hearing "Mo Bamba" on campus, consider yourself lucky.
"Failing my next exam!"
A common phrase heard and spoken by all college students.
"You going to class?"
Again, something all of us have said and heard at some time.
"After the week I've had, I'm definitely going out this weekend."
We all feel for this kid because we've been there, and we'll probably join them this weekend anyway.
"Is *insert any frat*'s party open this weekend?"
Heard by any non-Greek guy trying to enjoy a nice party in a frat house basement.
"I'm hungry."
Why are college students always hungry? Is it the stress? Is it because we walk everywhere? The world may never know.
"I can't, I'm broke."
Honestly, we're all there with you.
"Let's find a Bird/Lime."
Honestly, automated scooters are probably the best thing to ever happen to college campuses. Late to class? Bird. Don't want to walk? Bird. Looking to have some innocent, cheap fun? Bird.
"I'm ready for a nap."
BIG MOOD.
College is the best time of my life and so many other people's, but just brace yourself when you step foot on a campus. I guarantee you'll hear these words.
