A List Of Things I Hate

Sitting down after a long day and starting an assignment that you have no idea how to do.

Cleaning my room

Returning my overdue library books

Running into someone and not remembering their name

Underestimating how cold it is outside

When I’m hanging out with all my friends and someone decides to go to bed

Not understanding a movie

Running out of lotion (aka being ashy)

Not having water on a really hot day

People not understanding how much I love something

People not understanding how much I love them

Listening to a song and when it ends, realizing I wasn’t real listening to it

When things are taken too seriously

Not taking things seriously enough

When my phone dies at 10 AM and being surprised, although I was too lazy to charge it the night before

Going outside in an outfit that I don’t like

Not being able to think of something to say

And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
