Things That Happen When You Get Comfortable With Your Roommates

The people you live with throughout your young adult life are some of the most important people in your life. You learn their pet peeves, all their habits, and you are there for some of the better and not so great life moments. Although in the beginning of your roommate relationship you and your roommates may be shy about the way you live but there comes a point when you get over the honeymoon stage and there are a few things that are bound to happen.

1. You use each other things without asking

Even though you may argue with them about it later eventually one of your roommates will eat your leftovers or sneak into your room to borrow a shirt or two.

2. Pants aren't a thing

Pants eventually become non-existent in your house when you get comfortable enough with our roommates

3. You take naps in each others beds

When you get comfortable enough with your roommates there bed also becomes your bed. It's just so much more comfy and who else are you suppose to cuddle with?

4. You pick up each others habits

Whether you mean to or not you're bound to pick up on one of your roommates habits like a slang word they use, food they eat or shows they watch.

5. You fight over ridiculous things

You get so comfortable with being with your roommates that you guys pick on each other for just about anything.

6. You become really close

If you have good roommates you guys will get close and most likely miss each other when you're all not home. You're roommates become some of your best friends because they know your good and bad side

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
