12 Things Only The Grandma Friend Of The Group Will Instinctively Feel In Their Bones

Everyone always talks about their Mom friend, but what about their grandma friend?

You feel old.

And probably have used the phrase "these youngin's" at least once when referring to people only a little bit younger than you. But you can teach them how to play chess.

Knitting is fun!

If you don't already knit, you probably want to learn how to knit.

Actually, crafts are fun in general.

Homemade is better than store-bought because it was made with love!

You know the joy of staying in.

Honestly, you don't understand how people stay up so late!

You aren't up to date on the hip new stuff.

It's a whole other language half the time.

Baking cookies and sweets for friends is the best!

And pinching their cheeks while you hand them a plate is fun, too.

Rocking chairs are the best chairs.

I would argue, but I'm too old for that.

You understand enough about technology to survive.

And hope that no one ever asks for help because you don't know.

Phonecalls are better.

Texting just isn't the same.

You hurt.

The chilly weather gets to you, along with all your aches and pains. Or, you might be injured a lot.

You're short.

You swear you are shrinking.

You have your go-to sweater.

Bonus points if it's tacky.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."
