Men are simple creatures. It isn't very hard to keep us happy. Keeping that in mind, it isn't very hard to piss us off, either. Sometimes guys may do things that girls don't understand so try not to be so hard on us. Alternatively there are things that girls do that piss us off, too. Here are 10 things that you should know about guys.

1. We're crazy about our hobbies.

And we'd appreciate it if you at least tolerated them. Whether it be sports, video games, or movies, we love them. We all need hobbies in our lives and it's the same for us guys. So try to understand that when we're doing these things, we don't intend to ignore you. If you really want to be a sweetheart, you should join us the next time we have a Lord of The Rings Marathon, or watch the Superbowl.

2. We don't like it when you aren't direct with us.

Girls always complain guys are dumb and that they don't understand when a girl is feeling unhappy or sad. WELL ITS NOT OUR FAULT IF YOU DON'T TELL US WHAT'S WRONG. As men, we have this mechanism in our brains that I like to call the "three strikes and you're out rule." We, as men, notice something is wrong about you and that alerts us to ask you the problem. We'll ask you three times what you are feeling bad about and after the third time, we'll just assume that it's something we shouldn't bring up again and we'll just stop asking. We asked you what's wrong, but you didn't tell us. Next time, please tell us. We can even talk about it so that you may feel somewhat better.

3. We like giving you compliments!

Compliments are nice. It makes you feel good about yourself. Guys like to compliment girls often. And when we give compliments, we actually mean them! Its not some sort of tactic we use to break down your walls and make you really ashamed or anything. We just want to let you know that we appreciate you. When we say "you look pretty today," we don't mean you looked ugly yesterday.

4. Guys do things for no real reason.

One thing girls always seem to do is over-analyze us. For example, if a guy doesn't reply to your text, it's probably because we're busy sleeping, or playing video games or whatever. Its nothing really big. Girls tend to think that there's something more to it but really, there's nothing.

5. We love our bros!

Bros love their bros. You can't expect us to choose you over them every time. Sometimes we're too busy doing bro things that we can't hang out with you as much. Its nothing personal. Sometimes there are some things that we as men can bond over and we love that feeling.

6. We look, but we do not venture.

Women are beautiful creatures. Men never get tired of them. We like looking at women and sometimes girls think that a man is a pig because they check other girls out. We just look because we like what we see and that's pretty much it. If we think we should talk to them, we will. Otherwise we won't.

7. We want you to make the first move!

Guys, like girls, also like being asked out. Maybe if you're into us, you could tell us, or at least talk to us first. We won't know that you're into us or anything unless you make the first move. In fact, guys like girls that make the first move. So much that you can actually win us over. So next time you see that cute guy in your Calculus class, GO SAY HI TO HIM! He'll be surprised and happy!

8. YOU SHOULD EAT!

Sometimes when we go out on dates, girls don't eat much. For us, it's time for a meal, so we're really hungry but then we see that you didn't really order much to eat for yourself. Now, we feel bad that we're eating so much while you eat so little. It's okay if you're hungry. We don't mind if you order a whole pizza and you finish it. As a matter of fact, we think it's hot! And on the topic of weight and being fat, just don't always assume that we think you're a fat, obese and ugly creature we look down on. Unless we tell you, you're okay.

9. We don't usually care what we wear.

It's comfortable to wear sweatpants when we go out.? Guys will probably spend their time only in sleepwear if we don't have any plans to go out. I mean, we might as well, since we wanna be comfortable.
