I believe in many core values that make me who I am. Everyone needs something to believe in and be passionate about. What we stand by and what we believed in will have an impact on those around us when we die. So this I believe...

1. I believe you should go through life with a smile.

2. I believe when life gets messy remember every day above ground is a good day.

3. I believe kids should spend more time outside..life happens in the great outdoors.

4. I believe anything worth having takes work.

5. I believe nothing is free.

6. I think mommas should be thanked more.

7. I believe in empowering little girls not dragging down men.

8. I believe life happens outside your comfort zone.

9. I believe our grandparents teach us the best lessons.

10. I believe summers are meant to be spent outside laughing.

11. I believe no one will love you like your family.

12. I believe you should do what you love.

13. I believe you shouldn't do something if your heart isn't in it.

14. I believe you are free to be you.

15. I believe everyone was created to be unique but God designed you to be who you are since birth.

16. I believe kindness doesn't cost any thing.

17. I believe you only get one day like today so live it.

18. I believe life happens.

19. I believe a little sun-kissed skin is good for the soul.

20. I believe when all else fails dance it out.

21. I believe life doesn't go as planned so you might as well trust Gods got this.

22. I believe your time on earth is short so make a impact that will last ages and it could just be on one person.

23. I believe living with regrets is not living.

24. I believe your never to old to go back home.

25. I believe you should have an opinion and be passionate about a topic. Take a stand.

26. I believe you should also be respectful, if you want to be heard hear others.

27. I believe you have two eyes, two ears and one month for a reason.

28. I believe we all need core friends to keep us grounded.

29. I believe making your self a priority is important.

30. I believe you should also think of others.

31. I believe its okay to have bad days but it is not a bad life.

32. I believe every life is precious, even the little ones.

33. I believe our parents will always be right.

I believe every thing a person believes is the definition of them. Your mistakes do not define you, your values do. If it can be changed or shaken it’s not a core value. Stand firm in something.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows.
