All couples who are engaged younger than society generally accepts hear the same things over and over again. Everyone has the same opinion, and they can't wait to tell you all about it. Well, sorry to rain on your parade, but your excellent life advice has no use here. We aren't changing our minds because of your wisdom. Please take your opinion and direct it elsewhere because honestly, we just don't care.

1. "You're engaged?! Aren't you like 16?"

No. NO. Obviously I am not 16. And, even if I was, where is that any of your business at all.

2. "Oh, so are you pregnant?"

No, I am not pregnant. In the event of my pregnancy, I will probably announce and prepare for the baby coming in 9 months versus jumping into an engagement just to make people a little more comfortable with me getting pregnant out of wedlock.

3. "You're so young though!!!"

Okay, yes, we are young. But obviously we are grown up enough to let other people live their lives without judging a situation we know nothing about. Move along.

4. "Wow, when I was that age I couldn't even fathom marriage."

Neat! But, I'm not sure if you know, we don't have to do things at the same timeline you did. Some people find their soulmate at 30 and some find their soulmate at 16. Just because you didn't have your crap together at my age doesn't mean I don't.

5. "You haven't even lived yet, how can you make such a serious decision so young?"

Literally if one more person tells me this, I'm going to implode. Age does not equal maturity. Age does not equal ability to make rational decisions. I have seen enough bad decisions in my life to recognize a good one when I see it. And yes, you're right, we are young and we haven't really lived yet, but what is wrong with us doing that together? Why can't we learn to be adults together? Why can't we grow up together?

And now, for my personal favorite....

6. "Getting married at 21 seems a lot like leaving the party at 9:15 p.m."

Are you actually kidding me with this. So you're telling me, at 21, you would rather be partying and getting drunk than being cuddled in bed with your best friend who also happens to be your spouse? Really? So when you post your "DREAM WEDDING" and "#relationshipgoals" posts, you're just joking because no way you would take that over staying at the party the entire time, right? Please. I'll take a movie and pizza night with my fiance over a party any day.

Just, please don't make these comments to us young engaged couples. We knew what we were doing before we got engaged, we know the ramifications and it is not and will never be your place to judge us for our decisions. Keep your opinions to yourself unless we ask for them. We are happy and that should be enough for you. Thanks. Rant over.

I've lived a whole 21 years with an RBF (Resting Bitch Face), so naturally, I go through most of these struggles on a daily basis.

And before you ask, yes I'm fine. No, I'm not mad. This is just my face, so take it or leave it! To those of you who have been #blessed with an RBF, you'll probably relate to these more than you'd like to:

What's up Asshat,

I've composed a list of things that I wish upon you, and they're harsh and cruel. These things are things that I wouldn't wish upon my worst of enemies, not even that Starbuck's barista who always screws up my order, not even him. You fall into a whole other category of hate. You surpass Starbucks barista. Congratulations, I'm actually a pretty nice person, making you worthy of every single bit of torture I wish upon you. What are these things I wish upon you you might ask?

Supportive and spontaneous human beings are the best.

Theater Kids

Throughout school, the theater department has always been my go-to place with go-to people when I need advice, a dance party, or just someone to listen to me vent.

You never know what's going to happen when you're dealing with theatre or what kind of characters you'll encounter. We have too much fun doing anything! One time in my senior year acting class, we spent an entire class period watching Bob's Burgers, and it was the greatest class period ever.
