Maroon 5 has been around since 1997, when they were previously known as Kara's Flowers. Since then, the band has lost and gained members, all while putting out 5 great albums with multiple Billboard 100 chart-topping singles. They have sold over 17 million albums to date, and they have gone on countless tours all over the world.

I, personally, am a huge fan of Maroon 5 and their music. This article goes out to all the fans who know or do all these things that have to do with Maroon 5 and being a huge fan.

1. It is simply MAROON 5

Because Adam Levine, the lead singer, is out in the spotlight a lot, many people like to label Maroon 5 as "Adam Levine and those guys behind him" or "Adam Levine and Maroon 5". Maroon 5 is a cohesive unit of equally talented men who know how to make great music and put on a great concert. All members of the band deserve to be recognized, not just Adam, which leads into number two.

2. All 8 members who have been a part of the band's history.

Kara's Flowers started off with 4 members: Adam Levine, Mickey Madden, Jesse Carmichael, and Ryan Dusick.

Maroon 5 started out with the same members as Kara's Flowers, but they added guitarist James (Jimmy V) Valentine to the mix when they recreated themselves.

In 2006, Ryan Dusick departed from the band, and the current drummer Matt Flynn took his place.

In 2012, Maroon 5 added keyboardist PJ Morton and Sam Farrar, bass player for Phantom Planet.

The current touring members of Maroon 5 actually includes 7 members: Adam Levine, James Valentine, Jesse Carmichael, Matt Flynn, Mickey Madden, Sam Farrar, and PJ Morton.

3. On Sunday mornings, you look outside and hope it's raining.

The famous lyrics, "Sunday morning rain is falling" are a must to be sung when you look out your window, and it is actually raining on a Sunday morning.

4. Rozzi Crane is a goddess.

Let's just start off with Adam Levine basically created 222 Records, so he could sign Rozzi Crane to a label. I've been lucky enough to see Rozzi perform twice, and I got to meet her both times. She is so kind, beautiful, and is one of the most amazing female vocalists I have heard to date, but that is just my biased opinion. She has 2 EPs currently out, "Space" and "Time".

5. Stressing over Adam Levine's hair, never knowing what he's going to do next.

One day Adam will have his beautiful, nicely spiked brunette hair, and the day he'll be blonde or bald. Maroon 5 fans can never keep up with Adam's hair choices, and it causes a bit of stress when out of nowhere he just decides to up and shave his beautiful head of hair. Thank you, Adam, for the unneeded stress.

6. Wishing you had James' gorgeous locks.

If you haven't seen James Valentine's hair, I strongly recommend you look it up and admire it, because it is beautiful. Fans in the past have even asked James what hair products he uses. Everyone wants James' luscious locks.

7. You walk around the city, venue, or airport hoping to meet the band, Travis, or Shawn.

Some fans, who I am very jealous of, have been lucky enough to meet the band, Travis, or Shawn multiple times. I, myself, have met the band's manager, Shawn Tellez, while at their 2015 tour in Nashville. Many of my fellow Maroon 5 fans have been lucky enough to meet the band members or part of the crew and even have them recognize them on the street after enough interaction. Meeting any of the above individuals is a huge deal, and I hope to be as lucky as my friends one day.

Whether you know all of the above things or just a few, the above topics are quite specific to Maroon 5 fans. If you're a diehard fan, you should know all these facts, plus many more.

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
