Things I've learned this past year:
Let what matters in your heart matter in your life.
It's an easy slope to become typical.
True friendship is resting your head on a shoulder, no questions asked.
Life without coffee is one big tea detox.
You can't make them care.
No one really cares if you're drinking a pale ale or ginger ale.
Time is too often wasted.
You're not an idiot for giving them a second chance. You are for giving them a tenth.
Learn how to be friends with your family.
What you've put off until tomorrow has now become today.
Laughter really is the best medicine.
Taking chances doesn't always end up going well. At all.
But taking that chance is always worth it.
Never, ever, drink the jungle juice.
If you leave a hobby on a shelf for long enough, the charger will get lost.
Working to become a whole person is a yes or no question.
You are more than the stereotype.
When you wear rain boots, walk through puddles, not around them.
In a fight between you and a tree log, you will not win.
Sometimes when you grin and bear it, you find out you're having fun.
