Finally, Thanksgiving Break is approaching. Some will take the long journey back home to Mom and Dad, others will celebrating Friendsgiving, and some will never leave town. Wherever you are during the Thanksgiving Break, these five tasks can be tackled to make for a relaxing yet productive break.
5. Do Your Schoolwork:
The list is not off to a great start, but it is important to work a little during the break. It allows enough time to catch up on assignments, study for upcoming finals, and finish up that project you were probably procrastinating on.
4. Really Be Thankful:
For those celebrating Thankgiving, there is an aspect of giving thanks and togetherness. However, not everyone observes Thanksgiving as a holiday. For those who do not, there can still be a moment taken to appreciate someone or just be thankful.
3. Clean:
Cleaning is not reserved for just spring. Take the time to clean something. It could be something big like deep-cleaning your room or detailing your car. Not feeling too ambitious? Try cleaning out your email inbox or your contacts.
2. Eat:
Thanksgiving celebrations come with tons of food, obviously. For those not celebrating Thanksgiving, at least "treat-yo-self!" Make your favorite dish and dessert. Do something for you. Plus, you need food to live, duh.
1. Be In The Moment:
Whether you are celebrating Thanksgiving with family or just meeting up with friends, cherish the time. Do not get so consumed in social media or taking pictures. Reflect on good times with your loved ones.
