College is a big milestone for several people. You go from graduating and being the "top dogs" at your school to being a freshman again. You move out, your parents are no longer there to guide you every single step of the way, and no more home cooked meals! WHAT? Who said growing up was fun? Apparently, adulting is not all that it's cracked up to be. Here are a few things that are so relatable for many college students.

1. Quizlet saved you multiple times.

To whoever invented quizlet, I love you with every ounce of my being. I mean, honestly who studies for an online test in a gen-ed class when they have more important classes to focus on?

2. The due date has arrived...

You promised yourself that you were going to be different this semester and not procrastinate. You were shooting for that 4.0 going strong the first few weeks then BAM! You find yourself pulling an all-nighter to start that paper that is supposed to be 1500 words that is also due the next day and all your paper says is your name.

3. Forcing yourself to go to lecture.

Because yes, we all have that one lecture that we can hardly stay awake in because the teacher can wake a dead man up and put him back to sleep again. However, attendance is the most important part, right?

4. Coffee is your new BFF.

Yea, yea, yea go ahead and say you do not like the taste coffee but trust me it comes in handy when you find yourself at the library until closing time and then you are looking at an 8 am the next day. Just go ahead and hit up Starbucks, get a few espresso shots.

5. Scheduling is stressful.

Ever have your schedule all planned out, talked to your advisor ahead of time, you are ready to go, but still get a late registration time. Now you are wondering if you will even get the good classes/professors.

6. Late night food runs are a must.

In reality, all college kids do is study and eat so why not grab a late night snack with your pals?

7. Substitutes?

In High School, substitutes were the bomb but this is college now. If you are a professor and you are reading this PLEASE never send a substitute if you can not make it to class..sincerely EVERY COLLEGE STUDENT EVER! We are very sleep deprived and would love to have at least one canceled class.

8. Group projects are awful!

There's always that one person who does not want to put in any effort and then you end up having to pick up their slack. Seriously, why are group projects still a thing?

9. Checking your midterm grades.

Looks like I will need a 110% on the next three test to make an A in this class.

10. Not checking your email.

Ever forget to check your email and you get up for your 8 am? Dressed and ready, making that 15-minute walk across campus just to see a sign on the door that class is canceled?

11. For every hour of studying you reward yourself with Netflix.

Binge watching your favorite show and forgetting about all the homework you have can be such a beautiful yet horrifying thing at the same time.

12. Loving the word "free!"

Free what? I am there because I mean, after all, we are broke college students. Bonus points for free food!

13. Flip flops in the shower.

Ugh..I love the feeling of walking down the hallway back to my dorm with my soaking wet flip flops on trying not to slip and fall. Can't really complain after all though because who knows what is on that shower ground.

14. Time to spend my life savings on textbooks.

*Spends $100 on a textbook that was never once used for the class.*

15. Icebreakers.

Professor: How about we go around the room, introduce ourselves, and share a fun fact?

Everyone else:

16. When the professor calls you out.

Daydreaming in a huge lecture class? Would not recommend.

17. What am I even doing with my life?

Am I even majoring in the right thing or will I be stuck in college forever because I cannot seem to make up my mind...

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
