Things All College Student Introverts Can Relate To

Being an introvert in college can be an uneasy feeling. Feeling like we need to be out all of the time, meeting people, always doing something crazy, having the time of our lives, etc. But sometimes those fun things we want to do are read or watch Netflix. Why do we feel so guilty about indulging in that? Especially when considering that when we do try to go out for a while, it ends up sending us into a state of mental exhaustion? Being an introvert can often feel lonely. That's just because all of the other ones are in their rooms too. Here are a few things that every introvert on a college campus to relate to.

1. Mixed feelings about Halloweekend.

What's wrong with staying in and watching movies for one of the two nights?

2. Eating alone without the judgement.

Some much needed "recharge" time during the day.

3. Classes ending at 12 and being able to spend all day in your dorm room.

4. Seeing people leaving at 11 and smiling because you're not.

5. How easy it is to use studying as an excuse.

Don't want to do something? Easy way out.

6. Slow times at the dining hall.

No lines and only a few other people!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.
