Sophomore year is one of those years where everyone I’ve talked to seems to be in a rut. It’s the year where you start to weed out the things you accepted freshman year that didn’t really pertain to you. You start to work towards and join other groups and event that actually hold your interest. Even so, it’s a lot work and you can start to feel overwhelmed or just unhappy. Bucket lists are always a good thing to turn to when you feel like accomplishing something you’ve always wanted to do or you want to feel better about your day. So if you’re like me, then here are ten things you can put your sophomore slump bucket list.
1. Look up and apply for internships.
2. Take a class you’re really interested in, even if it doesn’t apply to your major.
3. Join a student organization, or even a group that’s not affiliated with your campus.
4. Start a blog!
5. Explore your city or town and the towns around it.
6. Learn to meditate.
7. Go on a road trip over your next break.
8. Get a new piercing or tattoo.
9. Look into study abroad program for your major or minor.
10. Volunteer!
Sophomore year, and really any year of college can push people into a place of boredom and stress. All of these are great options that you can use for your bucket list, whether you’re in a rut and want something new to do or you’re just looking for something to check off your To-Do List!
