Love can be this blanket
That wraps you up and swaddles and makes
You feel content.
Or this love can turn catching hold of your neck
And choking you bringing closer and closer to the brink.
Some people like that feeling,
Of passion and destruction,
Tangled up to make love.
You can see these loves in the ocean,
When you're on your back in the water
And the sun warms your skin making
All the of the chills of the ocean rise up to meet your palm
So you are held.
Then there is this other love,
When something pulls you under the surface
And you don't even have enough time to realize your under
Not enough time to take another breath
You fall deeper and deeper into the depth of the oceans
Until you cant see anymore
You cant even see you who you used to be.
