After an extremely eventful and food-filled spring break spent in New York City, I experienced many trendy eats. It is safe to say that Instagram accounts of food have taken over blogs and websites. When looking for a place to eat, we referred back to Instagram for ideas, and it was more successful than ever. Want something sweet? Tons of photos for ideas such as custard from Milk Bar, shakes from Black Tap and cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery. And that's just dessert.
New Fork City
Visiting NYC is hard enough as it is between figuring out the streets, the Subway and the boroughs- so don't make finding restaurants any harder than it has to be. New Fork City is essential upon a visit to the Big Apple consisting of photos from all over NYC and the tri-state area.
Hungry Betches
For all of the bagel and donut lovers out there, Hungry Betches is the account for you. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and these breakfast foods will have you ditching your bowl of cheerios. On top of being absolutely delicious, most of the photos are originally taken by the owner, who also happens to have the best taste in nail polish colors.
The Naughty Fork
Moving away from some of New York's best eats, The Naughty Fork consists of Miami's best eats ranging from pizza to burgers to Chinese food. Not only is the Naughty Fork on Instagram, but you can also follow their Snapchat account at TheNaughtyFork for instantaneous snaps of food and more.
Spoon University
With over 3,000 contributing college students, Spoon University has taken over Instagram and Facebook. This account is geared towards college students, so make sure to follow their account because you'll never know if they will post at a restaurant near you. They have pictures of amazingfood, but also tips on healthy eating and recipes for when you need to give yourself a break from the ice cream binge.
