These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things

These are a few of my favorite things!

How much free time do any of us truly seem to have these days? I personally feel as though I have none. Now, of course, that is an exaggeration. I mean, we all have some moments of sparsity, however, when you have many responsibilities, it literally can feel as though you have no time for even the small things, like showering or getting ready. When our lives are so involved, it’s helpful to evolve. There are certain products, and resources that make my life easier on a daily basis. So I just wanted to take the time to share my favorites with you.

I want to exercise and work out daily (okay I'd even settle for weekly). My good intentions, however, never seem to transpire into reality, so instead I do my best to eat a little better daily, and get some good nutrition. I am a huge fan of Nakedsmoothie fruit drinks. On top of tasting absolutely amazing, they are made directly from whole fruit with no added preservatives. They give me so much energy and help me run strong all day long!

I would love to look like I just stepped out of allure magazine, or came from the Kardashian house where I have my own personal spray tan, and makeup artist. Of course, I couldn't come close to that, so to get a quick and flawless finish look, I use Sephora HD foundation. I never feel the need to add a filter even on close ups while wearing this great makeup product.

I do not always have time to go shop for things I need, let alone be able to clip coupons, so I do the next best thing... I use the Groupon app. It’s a great way to buy things you need online (including gifts) while getting a really good deal. This app has all kinds of things you can find, from meal deals to pedicures, and everything in between. I love Groupon!

Portable chargers have changed my life! It used to be, where can I plug this in at? Do I have enough time in my car to charge my phone up before I get there? Now it is as simple as pulling it out of my pocket and having the flexibility to charge my phone anywhere! Since my phone is the only way I do banking, or shopping, and is my main source for staying on top of my emails, being able to have the security to know I can power it up anytime, even after it dies, without any outlet or USB charger, is awesome!

There are lots of great products that allow our lives to run as smoothly as possible everyday. Life moves fast, and it is so important to stress as little as possible so that we can stay in the moment in this fast paced life, and still find the time to enjoy it. Using things that make our life easier, is how we can achieve a little extra free time. That is why the above listed items are a few of my favorite things!

8 Things I Realized After My First Semester In College

Actually, Kylie Jenner, 2018 is the year of realizing things.

The first semester of college is famous for being one of the most difficult transitions of one's young adult life. You're thrown into a completely new area where the majority of the people surrounding you are strangers in an academic environment that's much more challenging then what you've grown accustomed to for the past twelve years. On top of that, you probably share a room with another person (or even multiple people) on the lumpiest "mattress" you've ever slept on.

With this change comes a lot of questions: what do I want to major in? What am I passionate about? Is what I'm passionate about something I'm actually good at? Why does the bathroom smell like cranberry juice and vodka? What is that thing at the bottom of the shower drain?

6 Unrealistic Expectations Society Has For Young Adults

Don't let the thesaurus-inspired vocabularies in our résumés fool you. We're actually just big kids.

Well over four feet tall and 100 pounds in weight, many of us "young adults" of the world still consider ourselves children. Big, working, college-attending, beer-drinking children. We may live on our own, know how to cook noodles, and occasionally use a planner, but don't be fooled; the youthful tendencies that reside within us still make their way into our daily lives. From choosing to stay up until 3:00 a.m. playing video games on a school night to going out in 30 degree weather without a coat, we still make decisions that our parents and grandparents would shake their heads at in disappointment. So why are we expected to know exactly how to be a wise, professional, sensible adult? It's not that we're irresponsible (for the most part, anyway). It's that we are young, inexperienced, and still have the sought-after, enthusiastic mentality that we can do and be whatever we want, which has not yet been tarnished by the reality of the world. These are just a few of the unrealistic expectations that society has for young adults.
