Certain moments in life have the power to take anyone by surprise. Usually those moments happen when least expected, and when there’s barely any time to devote to that moment. It can come in the form of family, work, school, personal friendships/relationships, etc. Practically anything and anyone has a chance to be this type of moment in life, and it’s difficult to determine what to do at that moment.
Maybe a family member has passed suddenly, a relationship with a significant other didn’t work out the way it was supposed to, or it could be as simple as school finals rearing their ugly head, all these types of events can lead to a moment of surprise. After that moment takes place the most difficult action comes next.
What to do next?
The emotions that take over a person’s mind, after experiencing their moment of surprise, can lead to an indecisive train of thought. It’s hard to make decisions when emotions are running high. That’s what these types of moments can do to a person. They change everything about life, and they also leave a reminder to the world. That reminder is that there never seems to be enough time.
Now that the moment has passed, emotions are dialed down, and logic has come back into the equation a lot of time has passed. That’s means that once again people reminded that there never seems to be enough time. It’s difficult to cope with such a reminder; however, I have a solution. The solution is that for someone to feel that there’s not enough time, they must put in the effort to make the time. The truth is that life will always be on the go, and even when life altering moments take some surprise, it doesn’t stop the cycle of life from moving forward.
The hard truth is that eventually everyone must move forward, and to do that, everyone must make the time to move forward. There truly is never enough time in the day. But we can’t dwell on that realization, if we do then we waste the time we have left. Once again the hard truth is simple. Put in effort to make time.
