When patients arrive atBiologix Center for Optimum Health, it is often after having spent years seeking relief from chronic illnesses. One of those illnesses, which is one of the most commonly treated by Biologix’s doctors, is chronic Lyme disease.

According to Dr. David Jernigan, founder and CEO of the Biologix Center, many doctors dismiss chronic, ongoing Lyme disease as a genuinely chronic condition due to the wide variety of symptoms that it can cause. But at the Biologix Center, this is never the case. Dr. Jernigan explains how the reality is that every system in the body can become damaged as a result of Lyme disease and, therefore, every system must be addressed before health can be restored. The Biologix Center recognizes that their patients’ symptoms are very real, which is why they commit to using everything available to them to promote true healing.

Dr. Jernigan and the team at the Biologix Center have spent nearly 30 years helping patients with non-responsive chronic illnesses. Many of those patients have exhausted conventional medical treatments in search of relief. The success that Biologix is able to deliver stems from its commitment to treating the underlying causes of disease, rather than just the symptoms that patients experience.

At the Biologix Center, their doctors’ specialty is working with the natural structure and function of the body to help restore optimum health in chronic and previously treatment-resistant cases. These cases most often require knowledge of the entire body, something few physicians can address in the present mainstream medical specialist setting.

Treating Lyme disease with phage therapy

Chronic Lyme disease can manifest in a wide variety of ways. Common symptoms include rash, fever, headache, fatigue, and muscle or joint pain. In some cases, these symptoms only manifest when the patient is experiencing physical or emotional stress.

Traditional treatment of Lyme disease is generally limited to antibiotics designed to kill the bacteria that cause the disease. While these antibiotics can achieve a certain degree of success, they are rarely 100 percent effective. Typically, only 85 percent of the bacteria are eliminated, leaving 15 percent that are mutated and antibiotic-resistant as a result.

Lyme disease patients present conventional medical doctors with more of a challenge since antibiotics are the conventional doctor’s only solution. No one treatment method has been found to be successful for the vast majority of patients. Patients are often told they are cured after a set duration of antibiotics, whether or not the patient’s symptoms are actually gone. This leaves many patients wondering why they are not feeling better or why they are often left feeling much worse.

Inducing phages to promote healing

Phages — also known as bacteriophages — are viruses that only infect bacteria, unlike viruses such as influenza or pneumonia that infect and affect the human body. Induced Native Phage Therapy (INPT) induces bacteriophages already present in the body to eliminate the host bacteria that they have infected. In cases where that bacteria is the root cause of a chronic condition, such as Lyme disease, INPT provides patients with significant relief.

Biologix’s treatment of Lyme disease begins with the Phelix Borrelia-Phage test, which determines if the patient has the Borrelia bacteria that causes the disease. The Phelix Borrelia-Phage test is the most sensitive lab test for Borrelia infection and can be used to detect the bacteria even after patients have received aggressive antibiotic treatments. Once Biologix confirms the patient has a Borrelia infection, they can confidently provide treatment for Lyme disease with INPT.

Extensive lab testing has proven that INPT rapidly eliminates Lyme bacteria in some people faster than any other treatment and with virtually no side effects. At Biologix Center, their team of professionals have discovered exactly how to use INPT to induce or activate the bacteriophages to completely eliminate their host bacteria.

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:

If you are like me, you have an interesting personality. Basically, you love to be sassy and snarky, gossip, and act like a total bitch (not really), but deep down, you are actually a very genuinely nice person. The idea of actually hurting someone truly makes you feel bad, and you probably have never actually hurt someone’s feelings because your kindness always shines through, even if you do not want it to. Not sure exactly what I would call this type of personality, but if you identify with it, here are some feelings you can undoubtedly relate to.
