There it is. That word we all have trouble with and generally would rather not say. We may not be thinking of the same word right now.

Forgiveness is something we all have trouble with. Most of us do not forgive easy and it may be for different reasons. Whatever the reason, it shouldn't be something that is conditional and it shouldn't be something that we don't hand out easily.

God forgives us much more than we realize. And it is because he forgives us that we should forgive other people. This is easier said than done considering we will be crossed several times by people. He tries to teach us how to forgive like he does as well in scriptures. In Matthew 18:21-22, it says, "Then came Peter and said to him, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Until seven times? Jesus said unto him, I say not unto thee, until seven times; but, until seventy seven times." Jesus is trying to show Peter a love here that we should all strive for. This is the type of forgiveness that many of us fall short of.

Besides patience, God forgives us for all things as well. Sometimes we pick and choose what we will forgive someone for, but can you imagine if God was like that? We still have to forgive like Christ does. Again, this is easier said than done and takes practice. One does not wake up the next day a godly person.

The fact that there is a God that gave up his son to pay our debt and still continually forgives us when we cross the line is nothing short of amazing. He teaches us by example what we should forgive like. And although we don't always forgive like he does, we should always strive to.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
