The Wheat and Tares Grow Together

Today's Generation of Churches Consists of Many Professing "Christians" Who Claim They're Christians But Fight and Twist Scripture To Their Own Damnation.

According to the 2011 Pew Research Center Survey, 2.18 Billion individuals across the world claimed to be a Christian. Being a Christian in this modern generation is defined as someone who verbally proclaims or believes that Jesus Christ is Lord, regardless if they only profess Jesus with their mouth and deny him in their works. Many people who take part in these LGBT festivals and parades claim they're a Christian as well and that God is love, and that we're all going to heaven. Even in the Protestant Christian Church, along with the Catholic church, many believe that everyone who believes in Jesus regardless if they obey his gospel or not will be going to heaven. As much as I wish that everyone on earth could make it into heaven regardless if we're obedient to Jesus or not, that is FAR from the truth.

Jesus gave a parable in Matthew 13:24-30 which talks specifically about the current condition of the Christian faith the verse states: "Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn."

This parable that the Lord Jesus spoke of was referring to how Christians(Wheat) , and those who profess his name but deny him in works(Tares) will be in the world together, and look the same. From a secular view, the world will not be able to tell the difference between those who are truly in the church, and those who just profess Jesus. When the Day of Judgement occurs(Harvest), the world will be able to see those who weren't truly a part of the church of Jesus Christ because they'll be thrown into the Lake of Fire.

Tares are individuals and churches who preach false doctrine that deviate from the Apostles doctrine and what the Bible states. Tares are churches and individuals who preach a "Trinity" or a "Triune" God, which completely ignores and disobeys God's commandment that he's only ONE God. Tares are individuals and churches who reject baptism in the NAME of Jesus and the baptism of the Holy Ghost, and don't want it, while there are multiple instances within the New Testament church where they were baptized in the NAME of the Lord Jesus and received the Holy Ghost. Tares are individuals and churches that dispute holiness and refuse to obey and enforce God's holy standards. Tares are individuals and churches that don't preach repentance and separation from the world and obedience to the gospel. The worst of them all are those who proclaim Jesus Christ with their mouth, but live like the world. Meaning, they cuss like the world, drink like the world, fornicate like the world, listen to the same music as the world, and etc.

The thing about the Tares and the Wheat is that they look the same because they all wear the label "Christian." However, until Judgement Day comes we will be able to see those who were truly standing on the Lord's side and those who weren't on the Lord's side. Titus 1:16 states "They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate." That is with many "Christians' today! They claim they know God but twist his scriptures to fit their disobedience. They know that Jesus requires holiness and separation from the world, but still refutes it. They know that the Bible explicitly states to be Born-Again, but twist scripture to enforce that "accepting Jesus Christ as their personal savior" is salvation. They know they MUST be baptized in Jesus Name but still fight it, and completely rejects it! They know they MUST receive the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues, but they fight it and state that it's "Kundalini."

The Tares have spent years spreading false doctrine, but Jesus is allowing it to occur until the day he comes back. That's why as Christians we MUST search the scriptures to ensure that our salvation is in there. Regardless if churches deviate from the Apostles doctrine, we have to remain in it because any other doctrine outside of what the Apostles taught is not of God! The Apostles preached ONE God, Repentance, Jesus Name Baptism, Holy Ghost baptism, and Holiness! Anything outside of that doctrine is not true and false! I don't care what Bible school may teach, we have to follow the Bible and not man!

The Tares will look just like the Wheat, but until Day of the Lord we will truly be able to see who was Born-Again and obeyed the gospel, and those who tried to find ways to deviate, twist, and escape obeying the gospel. For all of my Brothers and Sisters who repented of their sins, been baptized in the NAME of Jesus Christ, and have received the free gift of the Holy Ghost, we have an incorruptible inheritance that Jesus promised to us that obeyed his gospel. However, for all those reading who have not obeyed the gospel or forsaken this truth, God is calling all those who are his to this truth in these Last Days. Jesus said that HIS sheep hear his voice, so if obeying the gospel and obeying what Jesus said to do to be on his side when he returns in the scriptures doesn't interest you, then maybe you aren't one of his sheep. However, if you do want to be Born-Again and not endure the wrath of God when he returns you MUST repent of your sins, be baptized in the NAME of Jesus Christ, and God promised to fill you with his spirit.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
