I watched the smoke,
The putrid smoke
Ooze out of your mouth.
The mouth that once
Was pure.
I heard the screams,
The drunken screams of anger and longing
Splurge out from your lungs.
The lungs that once
Were holy.
I read the words,
Dare I even call them words.
Insinuations
Emanate from your mind,
From your heart and thereby your soul.
The heart and soul that once
Were sacred.
You used to believe
In you and me.
But now,
You covet so-called sisterhood.
You used to believe
In me and you.
But now,
You lust for phony intimacy.
I used to believe
In the Blessed Virgin.
But now,
I believe in the Virgin Sacrifice.
