Do you ever feel like every second of your life is a new change? A new start? And the beginning of something beyond amazing? Alert and intelligent people have a mixture of feelings and thoughts throughout the day. Such people feel powerful and know that something different and wonderful is to come. These people are emotional in an astonishing way. They have the gift of sensing what's going on around them and know the outcome as a result. If you can relate to this, then you are one of these people and you should be thankful because this means you are a unique person with the gift of amazing senses and feelings.

To be alert means you have the power to communicate with the world in a way that makes others feel recognized around you. You are able to see through people and you understand them simply. You are an alert person when you have a million thoughts surging in your mind for a solitary matter. You know you are intelligent when you are constantly striving your self to do the right things and would not be happy unless your brain is in agreement with your actions. You don't rush and you sit back and think carefully prior to making any life choices. In a way, you're a perfectionist, independently leading your self.

Although being alert is a wonderful gift from God, it is not always understood by the people around us. It might not be as simple for you to please as many people. Because of your emotions and beautiful soul, some people will not fully understand you and you might feel like you're not accepted by them. The reason behind this reaction is that some people can not keep up with your alertness. They are incompetent to realize what kind of person you are and this should not lead you to try to change your personality. Stay the way you are and don't think of pleasing everyone. Be your unique self and most importantly, be happy with you you are.

To fully be your self, you need to be thankful for the person you are. God created each and everyone of us differently in the most miraculous ways. You have beautiful feelings and you have the gift of knowing what the people around you are going through. Everyone is intelligent in a specific way and as Earnest Hemingway said "happiness in intelligent people is the rarest thing I know." At the end of the day, you are happy with all that you have done and you look forward to make the next day as beautiful as the day before. No matter what comes your way, be happy for who you are because there's no one else like you.

I'm the Short Friend. I've been the Short Friend since about the seventh grade. I'm the one who stands in the front of the photos, gets made fun of for their height, and still shops in the kids department.

This article is not for the Almost Short Friends, i.e. the 5'3" and 5'4" Friends. No no, this is for the Actually Short Friends, i.e. the Barely Scraping 5'1" and shorter Short Friends.

11 Things All Call Center Workers Can Empathize With Better Than Anyone

This semester I started my journey as a member of my University's Alumni Outreach Team. This means a lot of things, but primarily it means that I get to make phone calls to parents and alumni two nights a week to update contact information, collect things like business cards and volunteer hours, and even ask for money.
