It's the most wonderful time of the year! The Holidays! The holiday season involves shopping, decorating, and of course parties. But naturally, the hardest part of parties is finding something to wear? Especially when there are multiple parties to attend, it is hard to find that perfect outfit. With all the parties to attend, and all the outfits to buy, holiday party attire can become expensive fast. The key to looking polished at all your parties is wearing versatile pieces! To top off the perfect outfit, you need the perfect makeup to tie the whole look together. While most of us tend to stick to our usual beauty routines, it's important to spice things up during the holiday season! A flawless face and a perfect outfit ensure that you rock the holiday party scene.

The way I like to style outfits it by starting with the top, and working around it. Whether your top is the statement part of your outfit, or a basic item, starting with the top is a fool proof method to an effortless outfit. Plaid is always a staple for myself at holiday parties. It can be dressed up for down, and styled numerous ways. For a casual feel, throw on a chunky cable knit sweater over your flannel, and top it off with a sparkly statement necklace. Finish it with a cute pair of boyfriend jeans, and a pair of booties or heels. For a more dressy feel tuck the flannel into a pencil skirt, add a structured blazer. To finish off the look, accessorize with some tights, booties, and fun jewelry to tie it all together!

As mentioned above, skirts are great for holiday parties, and there are numerous styles that will flatter every body type and preference, not to mention the thousands of colors and patterns to choose from. Currently, midi skirts are super popular, and for good reason! They are super functional, and can be worn for numerous occasions. They are also one of the classiest and cutest skirts out there. With the right pieces, a midi skirt can be turned into the perfect holiday outfit! For work or family parties, solid midi skirts are a staple. Red and black are both classic colors for this type of year, and can be paired with almost anything. When working with a basic skirt, you have a ton of freedom on how fancy you want the outfit to appear. Spice up the outfit by adding a lace top and some gold accessories. Or tone down the outfit pair the skirt with a simple blouse and some minimal dainty jewelry. For a dressier party, sequin skirts are the way to go! While they might seem daunting at first, they can really steal the show. When stylish a sequin skirt, or any statement skirt, it's important to let the skirt shine with no other distractions. This means, keep the other pieces and accessories minimal so that the skirt can really shine! With both outfits, you can never go wrong with a classic pair of black heels. Investing in a good pair of black heals it critical for this time of year. A black pair of heels can transition from look to look seamlessly, and save you a little cash along the way.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
