The Ultimate Christmas Wish List

Christmas is getting closer day by day

With Thanksgiving and Black Friday having come and gone already, the much anticipated count down to Christmas has begun. There is less then a month until Christmas and this is the time frame where my relatives from New York as well as family members ask me what exactly it is that I would like for Christmas. Since I've gotten older over the years, I don't ask for nearly as many big presents as compared to when I was a little kid. Here is my ultimate Christmas wish list of items:

1. Money

This is number one on my list since I'm always on a tight budget and having a little extra cash never hurt. Considering I'm a college student the luxury to either spend or save the money is a nice one to have.

2. Food Gift Cards

Ever since i've gone to college, I've eaten off campus more than I have in CNU's Dining Hall mainly because the restaurants have better food. This is a vital gift since I like to eat a lot, and also considering that I have developed a major addiction to Chick-Fil-A and Moe's since arriving to CNU.

3. A New Bed for my Bedroom

I'd love to have a new bed since I've had my bed for years and I'm getting really close to outgrowing it. My Christmas would be perfected if I somehow got a Temper Pedic bed because they're extremely comfortable and have adjustable settings.

4. Sports Collectables

Sports is one of the biggest things I'm passionate about and I love having collectables that can build out my bedroom into something extraordinary, like authentic jerseys or college football helmets.

5. Soccer Cleats

Over the past few years, I've developed a great love and passion for the game of soccer and in turn this has led me to start wanting to play more even though it's hard to play without cleats. Any cleats would be sufficient for me since I'm not to want or care about the most expensive cleats out there.

6. A Keurig Machine

It's been a struggle not having any Dunkin Donuts K-Cups while I've been at school even though the coffee at CNU isn't bad at all. With this machine I could have an unlimited amount of K Cups and it would also save me money since coffee costs a lot in general.

7. Levi's Jeans

These types of jeans are my favorite jeans since they're so comfortable not to mention most styles have a relaxed fit. My favorite styles are the 505s and 514s because of loose cut style.

8. A Gift Card to Shop at a Preppy Company

Vineyard Vines, High Cotton and Southern Buoys are just 3 of my favorite preppy companies to buy clothes at since they're so unique and comfortable. Gift cards to any of these places is great because these companies rarely have sales and a lot of the items are on the higher end of the money scale.

9. New Pillows

I'd love to have thicker pillows with more foam mainly because it's hard to sleep with old and run down pillows. These new pillows would also assist in reducing neck and back pain.

10. A Bike

This would be great because I could get around campus quicker and going off campus in a quick manner without having to walk during the day or late at night would be made far easier.

11. A Happy and Blessed Holiday Break

Winter Break is oh so close and I cannot wait to have a strong finish with exams before heading home for a month to think about my first semester and most importantly celebrate the holidays with friends and family.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
