It's that time of year folks — stress is at an all time high. It's finals season: the time to figure out what you're getting people for Christmas, and I know that my fellow retail employees are under massive pressure in more ways than one.
Considering all of this, I wanted to share with you all the songs I play when life gets stressful.

"I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it" by The 1975

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Like_It_When_You_Sleep,_for_You_Are_So_Beautiful_yet_So_Unaware_of_It

Personally this entire album is my go to when I'm stressed out. However this song in particular, which is the same title of the album, is my #1 to de-stress.
Another few songs on this album I recommend for relaxing purposes:
-"She Lays Down"
-"Paris"
-"Please be Naked"

"Night Trouble" by Petit Biscuit

https://soundcloud.com/petitbiscuit/night-trouble

This song has all the vibes of a quiet night drive.

"Snow" by Matt Wright

https://mattwright.bandcamp.com/album/adams-son

Matt Wright has been a camp musician at the christian summer camps I went to in high school. His music is truly underrated and I think this song is one of my favorites of his. Go check him out!

"Holocene" by Bon Iver

https://genius.com/Bon-iver-holocene-lyrics

Bon Iver's entire discography could be argued as what is good to listen to when you're stressed. His music style is typically slow and relaxing, but this is one song I usually like in particular

"O" by Coldplay

https://www.amazon.com/Ghost-Stories-Coldplay/dp/B00IQE4NUK

Definitely another great night drivey vibe type of song. Really really soothing.

"Slow It Down" by The Lumineers

http://www.ryanhadlock.com/the-lumineers-self-titled/

I think this is self explanatory as relaxing since the title is "Slow it Down," something I need to be reminded of a lot when i feel extra pressure! Slowing down and taking each task one at a time is always what works best.

"Woman" by The 1975

https://idobi.com/review/the-1975-self-titled-album-review/

I fall asleep to this album almost every night, this was their debut album and has some great unwinding kind of songs.

"Chamber of Reflection" by Mac Demarco

https://highschool.latimes.com/east-los-angeles-renaissance-academy/mac-demarco-salad-days/

A super chill and mellow song, a lot of his songs mock this vibe.

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.

From sea to shining sea, the United States was uniquely positioned for an incredible Aurora Borealis display on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024, going into Friday, Oct. 11.

It was the second time this year after an historic geomagnetic storm in May 2024. Those Northern Lights were visible in Europe and North America, just like this latest rendition.

To My Loving Boyfriend,

  • Thank you for all that you do for me
  • Thank you for working through disagreements with me
  • Thank you for always supporting me
  • I appreciate you more than words can express
  • You have helped me grow and become a better person
  • I can't wait to see where life takes us next
  • I promise to cherish every moment with you
  • Thank you for being my best friend and confidante
  • I love you and everything you do

To start off, here's something I don't say nearly enough: thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You do so much for me that I can't even put into words how much I appreciate everything you do - and have done - for me over the course of our relationship so far. While every couple has their fair share of tiffs and disagreements, thank you for getting through all of them with me and making us a better couple at the other end. With any argument, we don't just throw in the towel and say we're done, but we work towards a solution that puts us in a greater place each day. Thank you for always working with me and never giving up on us.

11 Signs You Grew Up In Hauppauge, NY

Because no one ever really leaves.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
