The Twilight Books Ranked
Stuffpoint

While I was trying to come up with ideas for an article I went on Buzzfeed to see if there were any news stories that I could take a stance on. Instead, I found another topic entirely. In the quiz section I saw a little image that many may be familiar with; it was the cover of the popular young adult novel, Twilight. Stephanie Meyers' four novel saga, consumed my middle school years and I was obsessed. I read each book in the span of about a week, and as soon as the next book came out, I needed to get it immediately! While so many people have critiqued the books and the movies, I have to say it has been a long time since I have been as obsessed with a particular series. So here is a ranking of the books in order from worst to best.

*BTW: I was Team Jacob*

4. Twilight

Ok so from what I recall, Twilight was definitely not my favorite of the books, I thought that it was a little bit cheesy and Edward was very creepy. In fact, I am not quite sure what kept me reading the books. I think I was fascinated with the whole vampire world. And I was also interested in the werewolves. Bella was not a relatable character at all for me because I thought she was extremely pathetic and too dependent on Edward, but I really liked his family because the Cullens were cool AF.

3. Eclipse

Everyone I knew absolutely hated the third installment of the series, but I loved it! I think one of the main reasons I loved this book is because I lived for the Team Edward and Team Jacob drama. The werewolf people were really awesome to me and I thought they were way more chill than the Cullens, so it was cool to see the two different sides. Also this is the first time where we see the wolves and the vampires team up to protect Forks, WA from the evil vampires and the Volturi (lol remember them!) and that was epic.

2. New Moon

I loved New Moon mostly because Edward was gone and that meant it was prime Jacob time. Jacob was seriously such a good friend and so nice to Bella who really didn't deserve it. She was entirely too self-destructive and whiny for the entire book, and Jacob puts up with it the entire time because he's that good of a friend. Also, I couldn't put the book down when Bella went to Italy to try and save Edward after an entire mess of miscommunication. Either way, New Moon was very underrated and it was also the only film they kinda got right.

1. Breaking Dawn

Woo hoo! Breaking Dawn was seriously awesome!! So many plot twists, new characters, and a happily ever after. That is all I want in my favorite books. Edward and Bella finally get married! And then they have a half-vampire, half-human daughter whom Jacob falls in love with. And then you get to read the book from Jacob's perspective which was so awesome, especially for me because #teamjacob. Then it gets intense with a serious confrontation with the Volturi and a bunch of other vampires and wolves get involved. Then the Volturi go away because they realize they suck and the Cullens are the ultimate leaders of all the vamps. So therefore a happy ending resulted in a happy me as the series concluded.

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.
