It's almost that time of the year again where we are all thinking about what we want to accomplish this year. I'm here to show you what the true stages of New Years Resolutions look like.

Stage 1

In this stage, you start your planning. Some of the most common New Years Resolutions range from weight loss to trying to live life to it's fullest. In this stage, most people are excited and full of energy to get ready and start their resolution!

Stage 2

It's the time to start what you have planned. Maybe it is time to hit up the gym or go buy some healthy food from the local grocery store. In this stage, if you're planning to lose weight you're gonna sweat your butt off and you're probably going to be craving junk foods. If you're the person trying to live life to it's fullest you are probably trying to find some fun trips to go on or researching what living life to it's fullest consists of.

Stage 3

In this stage, you're probably debating quitting whatever you made a plan to accomplish. For those of you trying to lose weight, you are probably getting tired of getting up and going to the gym. Your body probably hurts and you are sick of this crap. For those that are trying to live life to the fullest, you're beginning to realize that doing this is destroying your bank account. This stage tests your plans that you made and will show if you are actually going to be able to do this.

Stage 4

In this stage, most people will give up. They thought about what they may have wanted to accomplish and how it is just not going to work for them. This obviously doesn't apply to everyone. Those of you who have accomplished something, good for you! But those of you who have not, don't feel like you have failed. You are not alone, there are many people out there who are in the same stage you're in.

Don't make a goal if you don't think that you can stick to it throughout the year. It is okay to not have a goal and to just live your life they way you see fit. But, if you want to create a goal, I hope you have a lot of perseverance.

If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
