When I was 13, my grandparents decided to take me on an extraordinary vacation. While on this vacation I went to Orlando, Flordia; Billings, Montana; and Sequoia national park. My favorite part of the vacation was to Billings Montana, because of Yellowstone National Park. The favorite part of Yellowstone is the awesome geysers, especially Old Faithful. I liked Old Faithful because I was able to see it erupt multiple times. It shot into the sky what looked like 50 feet to my little 13-year-old self. While I was there, I also saw loads of cool sulfur lakes. The coolest part of the lakes were the multiple arrange of colors.
The Sequoia National Park was amazing. The Sequoia tree only grows in certain specific environments. The environment for the Sequoia tree is high altitude and extreme temperature. The high temperatures that are required for the trees to drop their seeds are usually very hard to achieve accept from lightning and on porpoise forest fires. The high altitude state park has many gorgeous sights of true nature: crystal cove, amazing waterfalls and the trees that stretch up to 80-100 ft. high. I loved seeing the waterfalls it was absolutely amazing. I got to see so many great things while on that vacation; however, the worst part was that there is a three-mile hike, but it is totally worth it.
The trip to Florida was a whole week of fun. We spent multiple days in both Universal Studios and Sea World. Sea World was where we spent most of our time, and I was also able to see Shamu. It was amazing to see the monumental Orcha. While there I also saw a seal show and a dolphin show. The shows also have a good theme to those that hear it. The only complaint that I have is that it is hard to hear what the actors are saying, but because I had seen it more than once, I was able to get the message. I also spent a day and a half at Sea World’s water park, Aquatica. The park is amazingly awesome and huge; I loved the wave pool and lazy man river. I will never forget the experiences that I had while on the trip with my grandparents, especially my grandmother. She, being the traveler that she is, has shown me the majority of the United States and the beauty that it has. Together we have seen the beauty that nature has to offer, and it is truly amazing and something that should not be wasted so easily.
