I Love To Travel, And Can't Wait Until I Can Mark Off Every Spot On My Bucket List

I want to travel to a lot of places before I die.

I know at the age of 25, I should not be thinking about starting a bucket list, but for the past few weeks, I have been thinking about the things I would like to accomplish before I die--most of them are what anyone would like to accomplish. But, there is one thing most people would not think about accomplishing before they die, and that is to travel to as many parts of the world as I can.

Most people my age are thinking about continuing to get their “feet wet” in corporate America, dating that special someone, starting families and traveling across the country. While that is all on my list, I am just sold on wanting to see as much as the world as I can because there is a great big world out there that I still have not seen.

Some of the top places I would like to visit before I pass on would be Paris, France, Tokyo, Japan, the Bahamas, and I would love to complete missionary work in South America and Africa.

I would love to travel to Paris, as it is known as the “love capital of the world.” It is known for couples to spend their honeymoon, get married or just to take romantic vacations.

With the realization that Paris has come under attack in recent years, I am not in a hurry to travel to Paris, but I always wanted to see the Eiffel Tower and see some of the oldest art museums in the world.

When I was younger, my grandmother visited Paris, and although it was expensive, it was worth the trip. For me, of course, just to get there once will be enough for me.

The reason why I want to visit Tokyo is that I am becoming more interested in anime shows, in which more than half originate out of Japan, namely Tokyo. The Japan culture is so intriguing to me, and I am beginning to dive into more documentaries about the culture of Japan that I will be learning about before I go there so I will be fully prepared when it comes time to visit.

One of my favorite anime, "Attack on Titan," was created in Japan, and the animation of the whole movie is so enlightening and intriguing that I would like to visit the very studio that the anime was made.

Tokyo has one of the most famous downtown areas in the world, and I believe it is bigger than Times Square in New York. I am personally a city dweller, and I will definitely want to check that out. It is not every day that a person my age is this eager to travel to Japan.

The final destination I would like to travel to is the Bahamas. Known as the top honeymoon destination and the top destination for vacationers, the Bahamas is somewhere I always wanted to travel to.

With its blue waters and white sand, the Bahamas is somewhere I would like to go for just a plain, old-fashioned vacation. Ever since I could remember I wanted to travel to the Bahamas and spend a week there.

They have a very amusing waterpark, and with a slide that goes into the ocean, it is a slide I would want to try out, and it will be the first thing I try out when I arrive in the Bahamas.

In preparation for my travels around the world, there are things I have to accomplish. I have to learn the language of the appropriate country, what to do and not to do while in that particular country, how much money I need to be able to get what I need and of course, the time difference.

Most of all, I need a stable job. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do and unfortunately, due to me being a broke college student, I have not been able to do much of it. I really hope that will change in the coming years.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
