Winter Break is finally here, which means sitting on the couch all day long with the TV on and not moving. Being lazy is great, but Christmas movies are a necessity this time of year. Here are my top 5 Christmas movies:
5. The Santa Clause
This may not make many top 5's, but it will always be a classic to me. Guy falls off a roof, Tim Allen takes over, and all the elves just welcome him in and are so happy when he becomes the new Santa Clause? Makes you wonder how bad the first Santa was...
4. Elf
"Buddy the Elf, what's your favorite color?" If Elf is not a part of your Top 5, then you probably don't like candy canes or syrup. Also, anyone else believe the idea that Elf is a prequel to Step Brothers? Think about it.
3. Christmas With The Kranks
Another surprise movie that not many have, but another Tim Allen classic. Also, you don't see neighborhoods like this one anymore, where everyone knows everyone and actually get together.
2. Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
One of the best sequels of all time. Kid simply wanted some batteries, next thing you know, his family's in Florida and he's in New York. Best supporting character is a toss up between Mr. Duncan and the pigeon lady.
1. Home Alone
At the end of the day, your opinion on the other 4 movies is probably understandable and justified. But, if you try to tell me that Home Alone is not the greatest Christmas movie of all time, then we definitely can no longer be friends. If only Fuller didn't wet the bed, then he never would have been forgotten and left home alone.
Even though this list is accurate for anyone my age and your opinion will be wrong... What's your top 5?
