It is now officially December, so that means that Christmas is right around the corner. Here's a list of the top 8 best Christmas movies that are sure to get you in the holiday spirit!

8. A Christmas Story

This movie is a classic. One of my favorite Christmas traditions is watching this movie with my family every Christmas Eve. In fact, we love it so much that we even bought a leg lamp!

7. Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas

I've seen this movie so many times and it will never get old. Plus, is there anything cuter than Baby Grinch?!

6. The Family Stone

I love watching this movie with my mom while we drink wine and wrap presents. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly suggest watching it!

5. Four Christmases

This movie is absolutely hilarious. If you're in the mood for a good laugh, definitely watch this movie.

4. The Polar Express

I remember my parents reading this book to my brother and I when we were kids. One of the best Christmas movies ever!

3. Fred Claus

I could watch this movie over and over again and not get sick of it. So great!

2. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

This movie is hysterical and such a classic. Chevy Chase is perfect in it.

1. Elf

Definitely my favorite Christmas movie ever. I pretty much know every line and am constantly quoting it.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
