The day. It's 24 hours for most people. So many minutes, seconds and moments fill it up. It can go fast, and it can go slow. It can be fun, and it can be dull. But most importantly, there's an objective ranking of the times of day.
Here are my top seven times of the day.
1. 11:00 p.m.
I usually get off of work at this time. That means it's the best for everyone.
2. 10:00 p.m.
Sometimes I get off work early. It's also cool then.
3. 1:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
I am usually sleeping during this period of time on any given night, so this is definitely a great time, even if it's a four hour period and not actually a specific time.
4. 10:22 a.m.
My birthday is on the 22nd of October, so whenever I see this on a clock, it makes me happy.
5. 10:22 p.m.
Same logic as #4, but typically I'm at work, so it's less happy.
6. 11:11 a.m/p.m.
You know why.
7. 12:00 p.m.
This one is cool because there's an endless debate about how to logically represent noon and midnight. To make up for things, people will typically write out the word noon or midnight. Somehow somewhere someone decided that 12:00 p.m. should mean noon, which makes no sense. It goes 10 a.m 11 a.m., which should logically continue to 12 a.m. or 00 p.m.
This is why the 12 hour clock is problematic. Europe doesn't have this problem.
