Attention all EDM festival enthusiasts, the Camp Bisco 2016 lineup has officially dropped, and it is quite literally out of control. As a Camp Bisco alumni myself, I walked the slopes of Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania last summer and couldn't be more excited to return for another amazing weekend in July. If you purchased your early bird concert tickets a couple months back, like I did, then you've been patiently awaiting the lineup, hoping and praying that it'll be as perfect as you've imagined. Well look no further because it is here, and rest assured it is exactly as amazing as we all had hoped. Here are (in my opinion) the top seven artists playing at Camp Bisco in the summer of 2016! (Not in any specific order.)
1. Big Grizmatik
First off, this type of performance shouldn't even be allowed strictly based off the fact that I might spontaneously combust due to how awesome it's actually going to be. Big Gigantic, Griz and Gramatik all together on the same stage jamming out? I can't think of anything much better than seeing three of my favorite EDM artists in a single set.
2. Griz
As if Big Grizmatik wasn't enough to satiate his fans' thirst, Griz himself will be doing a separate set and blessing the crowd with his jazzy vibes. A little extra saxophone never hurt nobody am I right?
3. Jai Wolf
If you're into some more down-tempo EDM, then Jai Wolf is your guy. Not only does he lay down some awesome remixes for some of our absolute favorite artists, from Skrillex to Melanie Martinez, he also has some great tracks of his own in works. Listen to his song "Indian Summer" and see for yourself.
4. Troyboi
Troyboi is perfect if you're a little more into the trap EDM scene, but you still want to try and keep the sound on the chiller side of the spectrum. His song "ili" is one of my all time favorites and is a perfect depiction of his sound. This will undoubtedly be a wild set.
5. Zeds Dead
One of the harder artists playing at Bisco this summer is easily Zeds Dead. They'll keep it perfectly "trappy" and really make sure they give the crowd something loud enough to dance to, that's for sure.
6. Big Wild
The second the whistle drops on his track "Hey Mami," everyone in the festival is really going to want to be moving their bodies all around. Big Wild develops a great balance in between dance and chill-step. I will most certainly be wiling out on the dance floor during his set along with everyone else.
7. Odesza
Some chill EDM is always a great addition to any big EDM festival, including Camp Bisco. With Odesza being one the festivals headliners, and easily one of the biggest artists performing at Camp Bisco this summer, regardless of how chill their music may seem, their performance is going to be unbelievably hype.
