I always find it funny how people have a “type” as far as what they are looking for in a guy. While all guys are different, there are definitely a handful who stand out as their own category.
1. The Bad Boy
First, there is the famous bad boy. He is known for being a skater, or riding a motorcycle, but he is always mysterious and misunderstood. We all know this guy, most of us have had a crush on one of these guys at least once because we were drawn to the adventure and chaos. However, we had some goal of “fixing” them into a more parental acceptable version.
2. The Athletic Guy
Then there comes the super athletic and popular guy. Maybe he was on the football, basketball, or wrestling team, but he is the kind of guy that looks really durable. The guy you wouldn’t have to be afraid of dropping you if he were to pick you up.
3. The Hipster
Next is the more quirky guy. I know he isn’t the most popular as far as social settings, but I have found that more and more of my friends dig a well dressed, video game-loving, goofy guy than someone who they can’t have a conversation with.
4. The Southern Gentleman
The classic southern gentleman is another famous one. A man who can but on a pair of boots, blue jeans, and a button down to knock your socks off. I understand the southern charm makes many ladies swoon with at least verbal manners and the opening of the door. However, I know it is also that a southern gentleman knows have how to have fun without spending any money and can take you on some pretty crazy adventures. But be careful, their truck might not be demonstration, but compensation.
5. Mountain/Granola Man
However, don’t get the southern gentleman confused with the mountain/granola man. Many women are drawn to the mountain man by his combination of being hardworking, durable, and mysterious. He is always outdoors in a more peaceful sense. He likes to wear chacos, go hiking, go camping and rock climbing. I find that the biggest mystery about this man is that you never truly know what his face looks like under the beard. He is truly always in camouflage.
6. The Musician
Finally, there is the musician. The guy who pours his heart and soul into a song and it resonates with you. You connect with him, but most times his passion is so great in his music that it leaves the girl heartbroken when he chooses to pursue music instead of her. But I get it, if Brendon Urie came knocking and sang a song to me, I’d be gone.
