The Top 4 Places To Brunch In Charleston

Brunch on, Charlestonians.

Charleston is known for its three B's: beaches, boats and brunches. For those of you who do not know, brunch is the most important meal of the day. It is the only proper way to start your Sunday and the perfect way to end an epic weekend. It's not only crucial to brunch for your social life, but also for your health. Living in the most beautiful city is easy, but finding the best brunch spots takes a little more time (and appetite). So grab a mimosa, sit back and read about the top brunch spots in the 843.

Tavern and Table

With comfy outdoor couches and a beautiful view of Shem Creek, this is the perfect brunch realm. The duck confit hash is to die for, and it never hurts to indulge in a few man-mosas. It's a great place to sit back and enjoy the Charleston weather, or to start your Sunday adventure on Shem Creek.

Shelter

A delightful spot to roll up to wearing last night's tee or your Sunday best. Located on Shem Creek, you'll have the perfect mix of an upbeat indoor and outdoor environment. You can enjoy live music and the bloody mary bar inside, or the breeze and cornhole games outside. Not to mention the fried chicken biscuits (with cajun honey and cheddar cheese -- uhm yes!) will satisfy your craving something greasy and help cure your hangover from the night before. And if you're feeling a little wild, you can sip on a famous frozen category 6 cocktail and get your #sundayfunday started right.

Lost Dog Café

Located on Folly Beach, this laid back spot is great to stop by before you hit the sand. They have a plethora of menu items to satisfy everyone's craving. So bring your best friend (your dog, obviously) and munch on some of their famous whistlin' dixie shrimp and grits.

Prohibition

If you're more in the mood to kick back with a group of friends, Prohibition is the place for you. It brings you back to the 1920s, the wonderful age of Fitzgerald, flappers and speakeasies. The relaxed back patio is the perfect place to split a few mimosa carafes between some buddies. It's also a great place to enjoy the best eggs benedict and huevos rancheros in town. This place really puts the "swing back into Upper King."

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
