Disney Channel Original Movies, or DCOMs, are some of the best things to have been invented in the late 90s. From “Halloweentown High” to “Jump In!”, there is no contest that when Disney Channel is having an original movie marathon, I’ll drop whatever I’m doing and watch it. Then again, it also depends upon what movies are being shown. So to try and help you narrow it down from the 100 that there are, here is a definitive list of my top 22 favorite Disney Channel Original Movies from 1998 to 2012—because let’s face it, anything after that wasn’t that great.

To start it off, one of my all-time favorite classic DCOMs is...

1. "Halloweentown"

Because let's face it, who doesn't love this movie? It's literally all about Halloween!

2. "Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century"

Now, if this movie isn't one of your favorites, let me tell you why it should be. It's about a 13-year-old girl who saves her space station from impending doom after a computer virus has been activated to crash the ship. If that doesn't scream incredible, I don't know what does.

3. "Smart House"

Now this movie, much like "Halloweentown", is a classic. I mean a house run by a controlling cyber mom that locks everyone inside and doesn't let them leave...truly crazy.

4. "Motocrossed"

When this girl's twin brother breaks his leg right before his big motocross event, she does what any normal person would do: she cuts her hair off and pretends to be her brother!

5. "Halloweentown II: Kalabar’s Revenge"

Another "Halloweentown" movie? Who could honestly be surprised. I mean the first one was just SO fantastic! What's not to like about a strictly Halloween based movie!?

6. "Cadet Kelly"

Hilary Duff takes on boot camp? Iconic.

7. "Eddie’s Million Dollar Cook-Off"

This movie is one of personal favorites! Between the cooking competitions, the baseball games, and the inclusion of Bobby Flay, what more could you want!

8. "Pixel Perfect"

Unrequited love, an autonomous human hologram, and a band that needs saving, this 2004 DCOM was great based solely on the fact that it included Disney star Ricky Ullman, who was also playing the main character in "Phil of the Future" at this time.

9. "Halloweentown High"

From the start of Halloweentown, we've watched Marnie and her family grow up, so to have a third installment in the series was simply overwhelming, especially since the characters were starting high school.

10. "Twitches"

From "Sister, Sister" to "Twitches Too", Tia and Tamera Mowry made the ultimate comeback to acting in "Twitches" in 2005 to play what would be some of their more notable roles as the twin witches Camryn and Alex.

11. "High School Musical"

What team? WILDCATS! This movie is one of the best DCOMs of all time for obvious reasons and if you don't know why, we simply can't be friends.

12. "Cow Belles"

ALY AND AJ: THAT IS ALL.

13. "Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior"

Because there's always a special place in our heart for London Tipton.

14. "The Cheetah Girls 2"

Although The Cheetah Girls was a great movie, The Cheetah Girls 2 was even greater as The Cheetah Girls traveled all the way to Barcelona to compete in a music festival and "Strut" like they mean it--if you don't get this reference, were you even a true Cheetah Girls fan?

15. "Jump In!"

Corbin Bleu and "Push It To The Limit"....need I say more?

16. "High School Musical 2"

Now although the first High School Musical will always hold a special place in my heart, I truly believe that the second one is the better of the trilogy, if not purely for "Bet On It" and "I Don't Dance."

17. "Minutemen"

Time-machines, black holes, the FBI, and the struggles of juggling high school. This movie just screams greatness. And let's not forget about Jason Dolley either.

18. "Camp Rock"

A movie including music camp, The Jonas Brothers, and Demi Lovato: Amazing.

19. "Princess Protection Program"

Let me tell you why "Princess Protection Program" was one of the best DCOMs of all time: Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato. This movie was purely fantastic because it starred two of the most iconic OGs of Disney Channel itself, and also who doesn't love a little coronation ceremony.

20. "The Wizards of Waverly Place Movie"

Between the crazy wizarding games, the show continuation, and the family wizard being revealed--spoiler it's Selena Gomez--this movie was one of the best to come out of a television series.

21. "Starstruck"

With the reunion of the Sunny With A Chance actors, Brandon Mychal Smith and Sterling Knight, what more could you possibly need. Not only was this movie what every girl wished for--I mean she literally got to date a celebrity--but the songs that were included were literal bops. I mean I still listen to "Starstruck" and "Hero" all the time.

And lastly we have...

22. "Let It Shine"

Coco Jones, Tyler James Williams, and rap competitions. This certainly was a very memorable Disney Channel Original Movie and it definitely pumped out some notable tunes. Their spin on "Let It Shine" will live on forever.

Now although some of you may have differing opinions on what constitutes as the best DCOMs, these are some of my personal favorites and all time classic movies that premiered between 1998 and 2012. So while you may either disagree with some of my movie choices or quite possibly not have even seen them, I advise you to do so and then get back to me. Because let's face it, these are some of the best.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

two women enjoying confetti

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Syllabus Week As Told By Kourtney Kardashian

Feeling Lost During Syllabus Week? You're Not Alone!

Kourtney Kardashian

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.
