Calling all Dr. Pepper lovers – this is for you! It's your favorite, crisp, and refreshing carbonated beverage. If you're anything like me, at least one a day has become a necessity. If it's your favorite thing to drink, why not make it your favorite thing to cook with, too? We did it with wine, and even beer. So, why not? Some people use a Coca-Cola for BBQ or glazing their Thanksgiving ham; Some of us use Dr. Pepper.

Here are 13 delicious ways to consume Dr. Pepper:

1. Drink It.

Obviously, your first choice of Dr. Pepper consumption is to simply open that bottle, or crack open that can, and take a refreshing sip of carbonated deliciousness — nothing else is quite like it.

2. In cupcakes.

Bake a cake, or make individual cupcakes — either way, you won't regret trying Dr. Pepper in your next chocolate flavored cake mix. Use original Dr. Pepper or their cherry flavored Dr. Pepper. It will have your tastebuds begging for more.

3. In BBQ.

If you're from the South, and you love Dr. Pepper, you know how well it pairs with some delicious, savory, and sweet BBQ. Mix it in with your favorite sauce next time. You won't be let down.

4. Floats.

Ever had a root beer float? Same concept — only better. Don't believe me? Try it for yourself.

5. Popsicles.

Use the original Dr. Pepper, or use cherry flavored as pictured above, and mix with vanilla ice-cream. Freeze, and enjoy.

6. Ham.

The holidays are quickly approaching, and who doesn't love a delicious Christmas ham? Try making a Dr. Pepper glaze for your ham this year. It will be the juiciest, sweetest ham you've ever had.

7. Jello.

Replace the water needed for Jello with one can of Dr. Pepper or Cherry Dr. Pepper. Top with whipped cream, and a cherry for the perfect, sweet treat. Add alcohol and turn it into a jello shot. The possibilities are endless.

8. Caramel corn.

Bring a can of Dr. Pepper to a boil, and add a cup of mini marshmallows. Once melted, stir into the popcorn. The perfect movie time snack. Have some Dr. Pepper to drink on the side, too, of course.

9. Ice-cream.

Ice-cream and Dr. Pepper? Combined? It may just be my wildest dreams come true.

10. Donuts.

These donuts end up being like a cake — and so, so delicious.

11. Lollipops.

Dr. Pepper and sugar – the only ingredients that you need.

12. Brownies.

Chocolate and Dr. Pepper? You can't go wrong with a combination like that.

13. Peanut brittle.

Replace the water in your recipe for Dr. Pepper. You won't be able to stop eating it!

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection.
