As someone who cannot cook at all, I really appreciate the quick and simple recipes that Tasty posts on Facebook. Sometimes, I'll spend hours upon hours watching the same hands mix, whisk, and bake delicious treats and dinners. While I'm still no Gordon Ramsey, I find that these recipes are so simple and easy to follow that even I can make them! And trust me, if I can make them, ANYONE can follow these recipes. So here are some of my favorite recipes from Tasty that are fun to make and even more fun to eat!
1. Sliders 4 ways
This is my all time favorite recipe from Tasty. I have only made the BBQ chicken ones so far, but I definitely have my eye on those breakfast sliders. This recipe is perfect to bring to a tailgate or a party. If the rest of the sliders are as good as the BBQ ones, people will go crazy over them!
2. Stuffed chicken parmesan
These are so good. And I mean straight up delicious. The chicken was the perfect combination of moist and crunchy and the mozzarella on the inside tops off the flavor. I would make this for a date night or to prove to your family that you are an adult who makes mature dishes.
3. Garlic steak and potato foil packs
Alright so this video isn't directly from tasty, but it's just about the same idea. This recipe was perfect for a quick and easy dinner. I would load up more on the herbs and spices and would let the potatoes cook for a little longer than what is recommended in the recipe.
4. Chicken tacos 4 ways
I'm a huge taco fan, you might even call me taco loco. These tacos are quick, easy, and absolutely delish. While all of the recipes are awesome, I would recommend to use the sauce from this recipe to really top off these tacos.
5. Banana berry smoothies 4 ways
Smoothies are my go to breakfast meal. So when I stumbled across this video, I definitely had to try this! Although they are simple, they are still packed with flavor. The banana berry chia smoothie is my favorite. The only thing I would change would be to use a greek yogurt that mimics the flavor of the smoothie you want to make. So instead of vanilla yogurt for the banana berry chia smoothie, I use strawberry greek yogurt.
6. Deviled eggs 4 ways
I might get attacked for this one but I love deviled eggs and I'm proud of it! These are the perfect snacks to bring to a party or family gathering. Plus if you bring 4 different types of deviled eggs, your family and friends will definitely be impressed by your cooking prowess.
7. Slow cooker BBQ Ribs
I love me some good ribs. Who doesn't? This recipe makes cooking ribs so much easier than you thought it would be! Just plop in the ingredients, turn on the slow cooker and done! Give it a couple of hours and you will have the perfect dinner on your hands and plenty of left overs for the rest of the week!
8. Slow cooker chocolate lava cake
My mouth is watering just from looking at this. Who thought making a famous dessert could be so easy? This is literally made from 3 things. 3 THINGS! That's crazy, quite honestly. Overall, it's delicious, warm, gooey, and an absolute must try.
9. Garlic knot chicken alfredo ring
I can see this fitting perfectly into a Superbowl party spread. This recipe is absolutely delicious, tangy, and, honestly, out of this world. Your family will definitely make you the favorite child after eating this.
10. Spaghetti 4 ways
Can you tell that I'm a fan of the '4 ways' recipes? All of these spaghetti recipes are crazy good. My favorite is the shrimp scampi with lemon. These recipes would be great for a chill date night or even a large dinner party. This is an absolute must try if you love to cook.
