The Top 10 Places To Visit In The World

Have you ever sat and daydreamed about the beautiful scenery in different places around the world? There are so many places to visit and not enough time to do so. Here are some of the top 10 places throughout this wonderful world.

1. Dubai, United Arab Emirates: From the gorgeous modern cities to the pretty beaches, Dubai has become one of the top places for tourists to visit. It is known for its exciting holiday festivals and amazing leather companies. I think it's time for me to take a vacation to Dubai.

2. Paris, France: One thing: the Eiffel Tower! That's the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Paris. Everybody knows that Paris is one of the most romantic places to travel considering they speak the language of love. It has everything that a girl could want, all in one place. The boutiques, fancy pastries, and good looking men make it feel like a dream come true. You can't forget about the all the Fashion that comes from there, as well.

3. Madrid, Spain: Madrid speaks one of my favorite languages: Español. The scenery there is just beautiful, from the royal palace to the exquisite beaches, it's a great place to just travel and immerse yourself in the culture.

4. Venice, Italy: When I hear of Venice, I picture sailing through the ancient cities of Italy while listening to a bands play in the boat. The city is so romantic and has many little boutiques and shops along the way. Venice would be a great place to spend with your lover.

5. Honolulu, Hawaii: One of the most known islands in Hawaii is Honolulu. From the crystal clear water beaches to the thrilling volcanoes and astonishing rain forests, you won't get bored in Hawaii as there are so many different activities to do. Don't miss the different cultural events, like a Laua (Hawaiian party), which tend to have pig roasts, fire spitting, and Tahitian Hula dancing.

6. London, England: One of the biggest things that attracts tourists to London is the London eye which has been popular for years. Oh, and you can't leave out Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. London is also home to the Royal Family. The last thing on the list to see is the Tower Bridge and St. Paul Cathedral. When visiting London, your money won't go to waste.

7. New York: New York has too many popular cities to just name one, so here are some of the attractions throughout the state. One of them is Time Square, which is known for the New Years celebrations, Rockefeller Christmas Tree, and the biggest LED HD TV's you have ever seen. Also, you can't leave New York without sailing through New York Harbor while admiring the Statue of Liberty. Another thing that you'll see are all the celebrities that go to Fashion Week -- don't forget that. New York is one of the most popular states in the United States.

8. Athens, Greece: The Parthenon is one of the most historical things in Athens. What's left of it leaves a legacy that will never be forgotten. The Pillars of Athens, Greece is another place to visit while traveling around in Athens and the view is absolutely breathtaking.

9. Sydney, Australia: Traveling to Sydney would just be amazing. Snorkeling would be my first priority when I got to Australia and it's hair-raising waters, as well as windsurfing, stand-up paddling, and whale watching. Also, don't forget to travel to the opera house and stunning Sydney Harbour bridge. This is another trip to add to my bucket list.

10. Egypt, Africa: Last but not least, the beautiful Egypt. It has one of the most historical places to visit -- the Egyptian pyramids. Also, riding camels through the sand dune and shopping at all the expensive stores with authentic egyptian cotton. This will be a trip to remember.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
