It’s April, and that means summer is right around the corner! You’ve pulled out your shorts and flip-flops, figured out the perfect road trip, and are ready to soak up some vitamin sea. The only thing between you and summery perfection… that last week of classes. These are thoughts we all have daily until we finally reach freedom.

1. "I can't stop daydreaming."

The weather is perfect and you keep forgetting you’re in class.

2. "That summer smell is killing me."

The world has that intoxicating scent of summer.

3. "I have so many road trip plans!"

You've already started planning all the awesome things you are going to do this summer.

4. "I'm going to have to get a job."

You realize all these awesome adventures cost money and remember you’re going to need a summer job.

5. "But nothing can destroy my sunny positivity."

Because SUMMER!

6. "We're still in school."

Oh wait, you still have to go through finals week.

7. "One. More. Week."

It’s only one week, and you’re certain you can push through this.

8. "Motivation is key."

Two minutes into studying, and you’re certain you have no hope. You have no focus, motivation, or any of those other things that will lead you to success.

9. "I just need some fresh air."

So you try to study outside with a buddy. That doesn’t work for very long either.

10. "I made it last year, and I can do it again."

Somehow, you rally and charge through your finals and 7 a.m. alarms.

We can do this. Summer is almost ours.

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.
