To The beautiful human beings that have been lost to suicide or to those struggling with a mental illness, A long list of the things you won't get to see if you commit suicide.....

You won't get to see your siblings dress up for their high school prom, or your kids for theirs, or even your grandkids.

You won't get to see your beautiful hometown turn into an amazing community. One that can come together when need be. You will miss out on that amazing transformation over time.

You won't get to see the Alpin Glow on the mountain peaks ever again. You won't get to see your parents celebrate birthday millstones, or plan them fun parties that they don't want.

You won't get to see your nieces and nephews grow into these beautiful and successful human beings.

You won't get to see your college roommates or meet any of their funny family when you go home with them for a weekend.

You won't get to see the fish your dad caught at the lake last weekend or the elk your brother killed hunting last season.

You won't get to see yourself in the mirror on graduation day, wearing your school colors proud.

You won't get to see the old pool get turned in to an indoor field, or that old bare field turn in to an amazing new pool.

You won't get to see the grass turn brown and the snow flurries cover it a sparkling white.

You won't get to see it come alive again next spring when everything is reborn.

You won't get to see the smile on your husbands face when you walk down the aisle.

You won't get to see the tears in your moms face when you give birth to your first baby.

You won't get to see the excitement of your best friend when you ask her to be your Maid of Honor.

You won't get to see the pictures from your sisters honeymoon or the semester she studied abroad.

You won't get to see your neighbor beat cancer.

You won't get to see the wildflowers bloom in July or the leaves change colors in the fall.

There is so much you won't see, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Some of life's best days are still ahead of you. If you are gone, just know that you are so missed, there are so many of life's milestones I wish you were here to enjoy. If you are struggling, please know there are brighter days ahead. There is so much beauty left to be found.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
