There are so many things in life to be thankful for.
Sometimes, we take for granted the things we shouldn’t. Like my favorite short story, “The Mayonnaise Jar and 2 Cups of Coffee” says, if we worry about all the little things in life, we won’t have room for anything else. Things like family and friends, significant others, and the pleasures of life. Those precious moments should be cherished and held onto.
I’m thankful for my friends. Old and new, each has a special place in my heart. They have taught me that no matter what, I’ll always have a shoulder to cry on. No matter what life has thrown at me, I’ve always known I had you by my side.
Thank you for having my back and giving me a hand to hold.
I’m thankful for my family. If it weren’t for them, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. They have led me through life and taught me what I needed to know. They have given me the strength to persevere and chase after my dreams. I have learned so much, but I still have so much more to learn.
Thank you for giving me this wonderful life of unconditional love and happiness.
I’m thankful for my relationship. It has shown me what love really means. Yes, there have been hiccups and a few bumps in the road, but I know that you will always love and support me through each endeavor. Since the day I met you, I knew I could trust you.
Thank you for showing me how trust and love intertwine beautifully.
I’m thankful for the chance I was given to work with kids. Working with kids has given me a new outlook on life. They are the strongest little people with the biggest hearts. No matter what kind of day your having, you can always count on them to make you smile. I was given the best possible classroom and the most amazing campers in my time working with kids.
I’m thankful for the life I’ve lived so far and for the changes I’m going to make along the way.
