You have been floating through the Andromeda galaxy for several years, and you finally end up on a random planet. You take a moment to take in the strangeness around you. The air feels thin. "This place seems unfamiliar" You think to yourself. A few moments go by and you can't believe what you are looking at. It looks alive from the distance. This life form has a head, a body and what looks like a tail. It stands up right. You take a closer look to discover a multitude of these creature-like things. m. you that you only saw the first of many. There is a multitude of these creatures as you hold your gaze in amazement, plotting your next move. They look on to you as well. They aren't sure what to make of you yet. You look nothing like them. "It's an Alien" They whisper among themselves in a language you have not heard ever before.

A situation like this is probably the only reason there should ever be any type of differences among ourselves here on earth. The world should consider alike we all are. Biology class introduced me to taxonomy; which according to Wikipedia is the branch of science concerned with the classification of organisms. Organisms are classified into seven divisions which are Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus and Species. As a human race, we belong under the genus classification. So whether black, or blue, or white, or brown, there is only one race. The human Race.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
