About four months ago I started my first job at a well-known grocery store. In that short amount of time, I have learned about what it means to work in retail. I had heard the horror stories but could never imagine what it would actually entail. After a bit of contemplation, I decided to share my knowledge with others who may need it, but how to get my information across? GIFs of course, from the popular sitcom, 'How I Met Your Mother.'

1. Having to be on your feet for hours at the time

2. Having regular customers who cause problems every time they step foot in the store

3. ...Especially when they want you to fulfill every one of their ridiculous requests

4. ...Or consistently mess up the same thing over and over again

5. ...Or they keep trying to tell you how to do your job

6. When the co-workers you actually like keep quitting or moving departments

7. When you are working the graveyard shift and it's painfully slow

8. ...Or you are working with the one person you can't stand

9. And don't get me started on busy holiday weekends

10. But, at the end of the day, nothing beats the feeling of getting through a long shift
