Can't live with or without them.

If you have ever worn glasses, you will understand how bothersome they can be. Sure, they can be an accessory for your face, but it comes at a cost. On a good day, they will be something that you cherish--finally you can see! But on those bad days, you wish you had a fairy godmother who could grant you perfect eyesight so you would never have to worry about the baggage that comes with those pesky glasses.

1. Picking the right frames.

Unfortunately, not all of us have the face of a supermodel which means we can't pull off all types of glasses. Finding the right pair is hard especially when you usually only purchase them once a year.

2. Smudges.

When you accidentally touch the lenses of your glasses and you have to go through the pain of taking them off and cleaning them with your shirt. Worse is when you're not wearing cotton and have to wait till your home to clean them and be able to see clearly.

3. Not being able to see in the shower.

What am I even doing in the shower? Body wash for shampoo....not my first time.

4. Sunglasses.

Hahaha forget about them.

5. Sports.

If you're okay with having your glasses slide down your nose every time you break a sweat, more power to you.

6. When people ask to try them on.

"OMG you're blind!" As if I didn't already know.

7. Drinking hot beverages.

Your coffee comes with a side of foggy glasses every time you take a sip.

8. Rain.

ALWAYS CHECK THE WEATHER.

9. Forgetting where you put them in the morning.

That mini-heart attack you get when you can't find them anywhere.

10. Having to get inches from the mirror to put on your makeup.

Does that wing look good from a distance?

But don't worry, because wearing glasses is totally awesome and you'll be rocking them no matter what.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
