1. When you come up with the most creative story ideas but they usually come at the WORST times.

Like when it's 1am and you want nothing more than to close your eyes and drift into dreamland, but your mind is producing great ideas by the minute.

2. You create vividly detailed scenes in your mind that you plan on adding to your story, but transferring those ideas from your mind onto paper is difficult.

3. There are times when you’re actually able to write out your brilliant ideas, but then, procrastination.

4. You’re constantly in the mood to write something. Then you get hit with a bad case of writer's block.

5. When a great story idea pops into your head and you didn't write it down because there's no way you'd forget such a great idea, right? Wrong.

6. Rereading one of your older pieces and getting hit with a whopping feeling of embarrassment.

Because there's nothing like remembering how you almost shared that horrendous story with the world.

7. Seeing something that totally inspires you to want to write. But then your writing bares too close a resemblance to the thing you got the inspiration from.

8. You've started writing a ton of other things, yet you've never finished one.

That's almost the same thing as starting a new show when you have a bunch you've never finished.

9. You finally get to the closing of your piece and you have no clue how to end it.

Trying to wrap up the story may just be the toughest part of a the whole process. You know, other than coming up with a title, naming the characters, and actually writing the story. Just hang in there.

10. Actually finishing something you’ve spent years of your life writing and polishing, and not knowing what to do afterwards.

You're finally done. Time to start the cycle over.

11. And when you actually create a really great piece of writing, you’re far too shy to share it with anyone other than yourself.

12. Finally, you work up the courage to showcase your work to the online world. Then someone to steals it.

The struggle you have to go though as a writer is indeed a tough one, but it's all worth it to see the completed piece of work you've poured your blood, sweat and tears, years of your life and excess amounts of caffeine into.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
